Welcome to syntax

And, here we go. Welcome to the Introduction to Sentential Structure course for Spring 2024.

Announcements will be posted here, updates to the schedule, etc. I will not even bother handing out a printed copy of the schedule. If you would like to print it out, go to the schedule page here and do so. It is likely to change as the semester proceeds.

The course information page has stuff about the course requirements and my office hours, etc.

You should be able to see the Blackboard site among your courses at https://learn.bu.edu – though pretty much all that is there is a link to Gradescope and this course blog. And grades, which should be synced with Gradescope (so, you can just view them through Gradescope). The Discord server is also available. A couple of you have found it already, but if you go to the Blackboard site, the server invite is in the announcements post there. The invite is time-limited, so if you try it and find that it has expired, contact me for an updated one.

I have also added “homework 0” to the Gradescope site, so you should be able to submit it. Check in on Discord if you are having trouble with it.
