Homework 2

Updated:

Here’s the plan for the second homework assignment. It again involves exercises from the book.

From chapter 1: 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28 [27 and 28 were in HW#1 already]

From chapter 2: 17, 18

However, if you feel quite Python-competent already, and feel insufficiently challenged, try doing chapter 2 exercise 23 (about Zipf’s Law) as well. The other exercises are not pointless if you know Python, but you might get through them quickly. Ch. 2 number 23 is not required, and it is not a risk to do it (if you get it wrong somewhere, you won’t be penalized).

This is still not a great division by background level, but it might help a little bit.
