{"id":150,"date":"2011-10-26T04:25:32","date_gmt":"2011-10-26T08:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ling-blogs.bu.edu\/lx522f11\/?p=150"},"modified":"2012-06-27T23:43:54","modified_gmt":"2012-06-28T03:43:54","slug":"november-3-no-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ling-blogs.bu.edu\/lx522f11\/2011\/10\/26\/november-3-no-class\/","title":{"rendered":"November 3: No class"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry that I did not notice this sooner, but:<\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be no class on Thursday November 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I am involved in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bcs.rochester.edu\/sld\/symposium.html\" target=\"_blank\">Society for Language Development Symposium<\/a> that is being held that day and so I need to be there, and it is happening at the same time that the class is.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you don&#8217;t attend the SLD symposium yourself, feel free to spend Thursday Nov. 3, 3:30-5pm, pondering syntax in solitude.<\/p>\n<p>Note about homework 6: <em>Never mind, this became moot when I made <a href=\"http:\/\/ling-blogs.bu.edu\/lx522f11\/2011\/10\/26\/hw5-surprise-its-not-due-tomorrow-after-all\/\">homework 5 be due later<\/a>.  Check the <a href=\"http:\/\/ling-blogs.bu.edu\/lx522f11\/schedule\/\">schedule<\/a> instead.<\/em> <s>It would have been due on November 3, but it will actually be due on the next class meeting, November 8.  I&#8217;ll try to ensure that the correct due date is printed on the sheet when I hand it out, but for those who are planning ahead, that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m planning.  If you are going to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bucld\/\" target=\"_blank\">BUCLD<\/a> that weekend, you may want to pretend the homework is due on November 3 anyway, so that you can attend the BUCLD without worrying about a homework you need to finish.<\/s><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry that I did not notice this sooner, but: There will be no class on Thursday November 3.
