The example is passive. Little <i>v<\/i> should not have a [<i>u<\/i>N*] feature on it. An unfortunate copy &amp; paste error on my part.<\/p>\n<p>You can download <a href=\"http:\/\/ling.bu.edu\/blogs\/lx522f09\/files\/2009\/11\/lx522f09-09hw6-passive-fq.pdf\">homework #6, v1.1, containing the corrected tree<\/a> to take a look, though the change is small enough you might as well just make the change on your hardcopy. It&#8217;s also linked into the <a href=\"http:\/\/ling.bu.edu\/blogs\/lx522f09\/schedule\/\">schedule page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>(Incidentally, we&#8217;ll talk about the passive at the beginning next time, we haven&#8217;t really talked about it yet.
