It&#8217;s good that we&#8217;re having lively in-class discussions, and there was padding in the schedule anyway. Plus, because this class is pretty linear, with later things depending on earlier things, it&#8217;s important to be sure that you understand what we&#8217;re doing at each point so it doesn&#8217;t become unduly difficult later on.<\/p>\n<p>So, note that I&#8217;ve shifted a lot of things back a week from the printout that you got at the beginning of the semester, but the <a href=\"http:\/\/ling.bu.edu\/blogs\/lx522f09\/schedule\/\">schedule page<\/a> should always be basically up to date, so that should be what you refer to.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve fallen behind the schedule that I set at the very beginning of the semester, but this is fine.
