So. I intended to post video 5 this morning, and then the day wound up being filled with meetings and colloquium-related events, and now I was just about to post it now when I discovered that—although I recorded it already—it hasn’t been rendered out yet. So, it’s going to take a bit more work to prepare it, meaning I think that it’s not going to be available until tomorrow (Saturday) probably around mid-day. Sorry about the delay, but I’ll try to get it posted as soon as it’s ready.
Video 4, for Thursday
And here is the third video, which starts with the number “4” prominently displayed, wherein you will hear about the various constituency tests: video number 4. Also, the handout version: handout number 4.
At some point I may try to solve this “off-by-one” problem my video/handout numbering system has, but in any event, this is the next one.
Video 3, for Tuesday
Took longer to put this together than I’d hoped. But I think I’m getting the hang of it. There’s a little bit of audio clipping, which I’ll try to reduce from video 6 on.
So, here is the YouTube link to the third lecture, and the
handout that goes along with it in PDF form if you want it.
Site running, video 2 for Thursday
Ok, I have the blog running now. I sent out an email with this link already, but here it is posted on the blog as well. The second lecture is here, on YouTube. There is also a handout (PDF) that goes along with it (just a printout of the slides).
Particularly in these cases where there was no reading assigned, the expectation is that you will have watched these before class. I’ll assume it as background in the class discussions, and things that are covered there will be on the exams and homework. I might still give out readings sometimes, and there probably won’t be a video to watch before every single class, but they are to be considered required.
